Philadelphia Quarterly Meeting: A Listening Session on Racism and Climate Witness

Join us at Green Street Meeting on Sunday, January 25, 2026, for a day of fellowship and community.

The program will feature Chris Mohr, the new General Secretary of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting (PYM) and serve as an introduction and a listening session focused on the two yearly meeting-wide witnesses addressing racism and climate change. He is planning a facilitated listening exercise for each quarterly meeting in PYM, and PQM will be the first. We look forward to coming together!

Here’s what the day holds for us:

10:30 AM– Worship with Green Street (in person and online)
12:00 PM– Lunch provided (in person only)
1:00 PM– Program
2:30 PM– Business
4:00 PM (or earlier)– Adjourn

A Letter from PYM’s General Secretary: Starting Service With Visits Among Friends

Dear Friends,

Greetings and best wishes for winter! I hope you, your family, your friends, and your Friends are all doing well; even in the face of some challenging times.

I began service as General Secretary on November 8, at Fall Continuing Sessions. It was a day of discernment, fellowship, and sinking down together in small groups in the afternoon workshop. It was a rewarding way to start!
