“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight…” –
words often sung in Quaker meetings. This May 22–24, Woodbury Meeting—whose
meetinghouse has stood since 1715—opens its doors and grounds for Spring Weekend, a
regenerative campout for all ages. Hosted by South Jersey Quakers and neighbors, with
sponsorship from SouthJerseyQuakers and partnership from Tri Quarter, we invite you to camp,
potluck, sing, attend learning sessions, visit, and build peace and sustainable networks
across South Jersey.

4th Annual Quaker Day, Haddonfield
Join Haddonfield Friends Meeting as we host this fourth annual Quaker Day, a celebration of peace and history at their historic meetinghouse and grounds.
Free activities for young and old include: a petting zoo, graveyard tours, demonstration Meetings for Worship, children’s games, music, and much more!
Quaker Day is held in cooperation with (but is not directly connected to) the annual Haddonfield Skirmish taking place on the same day.
The Meetinghouse is located at 47 Friends Avenue, Haddonfield, NJ. This is a half-mile walk from the Haddonfield PATCO station.
Winter Youth Programs: City & Camp!
PYM Youth Programs have been busy connecting in-person! Two recent programs included a trip to Washington DC for older youth and a Family Overnight for children and families.
The weekend of January 27-29, ten Young Friends (high school) and Middle School Friends from three local meetings traveled to Washington DC with Friendly Presences (adult volunteer chaperones) and Youth Program staff to spend the weekend building friendships, learning more about African American history, and reflecting on how to be agents of change in our world. The group stayed at Friends Place on Capitol Hill, a Quaker learning center and guesthouse. The trip was conceived by the youth from Lancaster Monthly Meeting, who wanted to visit DC and meet other Quaker youth. They collaborated with staff from the yearly meeting Youth Program to organize the itinerary, plan programming, and invite other youth from around the Yearly Meeting.
