FCNL is accepting applications for the Advocacy Corps program until Friday, April 18. In this 10-month program, young adults are paid to be trained as organizers who then mobilize their community. The program is for young adults between the ages of 19-30.
This year’s Advocacy Corps cohort will be lobbying Congress for humane migration policy. This includes challenging the sweeping and indiscriminate deportation, while lifting legal pathways for immigrants, protecting the rights of refugees and asylum seekers, and securing humane migration solutions.
The application deadline is Friday, April 18. More information on the program and the application can be found here.
As an alumna of the program, I know the experience can be transformative. I have gained new leadership skills from organizing my community and ensuring their voices heard in Congress.
I had no experience in obbying or publishing in the media before working as an Advocacy Corps organizer. Before I knew it, I was able to build a network of organizers who regularly met their members of Congress on important issues.
I hope you can have the same experience. Apply to Advocacy Corps today!
