This past year meetings have shared minutes on support for LGBTQIA+ communities, statements connected to peace, and concerns around incarceration.
Each minute records a decision reached in business or committee work within monthly and quarterly meetings. Friends speak to the matter, listen for how Spirit leads, and the meeting approves language that reflects what happened. These minutes can be shared on the PYM website.
If your meeting has approved a minute of concern or another type of minute this year, you can share the text with Philadelphia Yearly Meeting (communications@pym.org). You can post it on PYM Connect, ask staff to publish it through the PYM news feed, or submit information about a related event so it appears on the PYM calendar.
