Clinton W. Pettus – Third Haven Friends Meeting

Clinton Pettus dedicated more than thirty years of his career to serving as a faculty member and college administrator. Throughout his tenure in higher education, he held positions including department chairperson, academic dean, vice president for administration, vice president for academic affairs, and president.
Following his retirement from higher education, Clinton pursued a second career as a regional director and subsequently as Deputy General Secretary for United States and International Programs at the American Friends Service Committee. Clinton will share
the work he is doing in retirement and how it relates to our theme, Members One of Another, as we yearn for more civil discourse on critical topics such as politics and religion.
Dr. Christy Daniel Randazzo – Haddonfield Friends Meeting

Dr. Christy Randazzo (they/them) is dedicated to envisioning new ways of experiencing and imagining God’s universal and inclusive love in the world, with a special focus on telling healing and liberative stories of creation care and reconciliation for oppressed peoples. They are a theologian, writing both popular and academic theology that especially speaks to Friends, trans and queer people, and peacemakers. They are a member of Haddonfield Friends Meeting, while their church family is Woven Faith Community, a gathering of seekers in South Jersey working together to embody God’s love by weaving together mutuality, care, and faith.
Jesse White, Artist in Residence
Jesse White is a narrative expressionist artist and writer. She assists clients privately and in groups to make important changes in their lives, and she facilitates transformative and creative retreats across the country. Jesse’s favorite mediums to work in are painting, book arts, poetry, and tapestry weaving. The author of Pendle Hill Pamphlet #468, God’s Invitation to Creative Play, Jesse is a long-time teaching artist. She also has a work history in expressive arts therapy, and in paper and books preservation housing.
Molly Grace Hicks, “Song, Silence and Sanctuary”
Molly Grace Hicks (she/her) is a member of Old Haverford Friends Meeting, located in Havertown, PA on unceded Lenni Lenape land. Molly has a travel minute from Old Haverford supporting her calling to interfaith and music leadership, which includes a monthly interfaith gathering called Song, Silence & Sanctuary. Molly shares music and serves as a guest leader for several other congregations and interfaith organizations in the Philadelphia area.
Song, Silence & Sanctuary is a time of waiting worship, and Molly breaks the silence with a song that is on her heart. As in meeting for worship, silence is left between offerings as participants collectively worship and listen for how Spirit is moving among them Anyone
may sing or play a song, improvise, or offer spoken ministry.
