Would your Meeting’s Care Committee benefit from some organization when needing to assist members and attenders during a crisis? Do you have a great approach that is working for your Meeting and you are willing to share with others?
Some Meetings feel more equipped than others and the capacity of each Meeting for attending to needs varies. Many have structures in place to respond when someone needs help, while others respond on a case by case basis. For some, dealing with practical supports is a way to ease into deeper relationships.
Organizing a Meeting Care Team is a basic tool that provides general practical ideas and is a work in progress; your feedback and ideas are appreciated. We also welcome the opportunity to help your Meeting engage in further exploration of the spiritual challenges and opportunities that occur when we as individuals have a need or are caring for another.
