Quaker Writers’ Retreat at Pendle Hill

A retreat for writing and sharing in Quaker community.
Join us in Pendle Hill’s sanctuary to center down and write in community with other Friends. Enjoy Pendle Hill’s library, art studio, walking trails, and communal meals and refreshments, with time to come together to worship, share your work as led, and explore what it means to be a Quaker writer.
We welcome both professional and non-professional writers to this weekend of self-directed individual writing time within a scheduled framework. Pendle Hill Pamphlets Coordinator Janaki Spickard Keeler will offer an optional presentation on the process of writing a Pendle Hill pamphlet. Janaki and former Pamphlets Editor Rebecca Mays will be available to discuss potential pamphlet manuscripts and offer feedback on pamphlet manuscripts in progress if submitted in advance.
