Quaker Trans Day of Visibility Gathering Online & In-Person in Swarthmore, PA

Friends are invited to a day of worship, witness, and discernment centered on transgender, nonbinary, and intersex Quaker lives.  Ten  authors from the March 2026 Friends Journal special issue on gender and sexual identities join trans and nonbinary moderators for facilitated conversation—not presentations, but deep engagement with what their stories ask of our meetings, our witness, and each other. Opening and closing in worship. Musical interludes. Witnessed commitments. All are welcome, however you can participate- online & in-person.  This Quaker TDoV gathering is co-hosted by Swarthmore Friends Meeting, Swarthmore College Dept of Peace and Conflict Studies, Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, Baltimore Yearly Meeting, Friends Journal and Pendle Hill.  Free Event.  Lunch at Swarthmore College Dining Center costs $13.50
