An International Gathering of Young Adult Friends at Jordans Meetinghouse, UK

We are excited to share news about an upcoming international gathering of Young Adult Quakers (ages 18 to 35) from the 13th to the 17th of August, as we seek a deepening of our faith. We will gather at the Jordans Meeting House & Quaker Centre in Beaconsfield, UK.
In the midst of a hostile world and a future filled with uncertainty, we find the need for a faith that can nourish us. We hope Friends will join us for some days together, as we seek depth and richness, helping each other to find
A faith that sustains, A faith that gives life, A Spirit that guides.
The gathering will be grounded in worship, giving ample space to listen to the promptings of Love and Truth in our hearts. We welcome participants bringing their whole selves, our commonalities and our differences, as well as gifts. Everyone is encouraged to use the language that speaks their own spiritual truth. Let us collectively choose to live in the Light, and explore where that choice leads us. We extend the welcome to bring our whole lives into the Spirit, and grapple with the question: what does Love require of us? How are we led by the Spirit? How can we courageously engage with the world, ourselves, and each other? How can we help each other go down to the Well of Living Water, and to drink from it?
This gathering follows one from last year which was also held at Jordans Meeting House, the epistle for which can be read here. Similar to last year, we hope to offer this gathering nearly free of charge. We ask for a £10 ($12) contribution that will go towards food costs. To register, Friends can fill out the registration form here.
