A Little About My Role at PYM
As the Director of Program & Religious Life at Philadelphia Yearly Meeting (PYM), I have the privilege of supervising and collaborating with the dedicated team in the PRL Department. Together, we support the spiritual vitality of our Quaker community through programs, events, and resources that foster faith formation, community engagement, and inclusivity.
Our team serves as a hub for spiritual enrichment, nurturing individuals and meetings across the PYM region. We focus on areas such as spiritual formation, religious education for all ages, pastoral care, and advocacy for social justice and environmental stewardship. My role involves guiding the team to implement these initiatives effectively, ensuring they are grounded in our Quaker faith and practices while promoting belonging and equity.
Working closely with staff and volunteers, I aim to cultivate relationships, amplify ministry, and support Friends in finding deeper purpose and connection within the extended Quaker family. By fostering collaboration within and beyond our community, we strive to nurture the Light within and carry forward the transformative work of Quaker tradition.
