SUMMARY:1990s Young Friends Reunion Weekend at Camp Onas!
DESCRIPTION:1990s-era/Gen X Young Friends of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting are gathering at Onas and we invite you to join us.\nFor many of us\, the past year has highlighted the need to come together and share resources and fellowship. The sacred community we created in the 90s was a powerful force in our lives. Now is the time to tap back into that power and rebuild that community.\nIf you were a 90s PYM Young Friend or adjacent to that community\, we especially hope you’ll join us. But all Friends and Friendly folk are welcome. \nWe will connect\, learn from each other\, and reignite the light of our community. DESCRIPTION:REGISTER\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				“Quakers and the Earth”\nYoung Adult Friends Fall Retreat 2026\nOctober 23 – 25 | 5:00 p.m. Friday – 12:30 p.m Sunday \nCamp Onas | 609 Giegle Hill Rd\, Ottsville PA 18942 \nCost | $40 \nJoin us for a weekend at Camp Onas! We’ll be sleeping over on Friday and Saturday night\, so don’t forget to pack your sleeping bags\, pillows\, clothes\, necessary bathroom items\, medications\, and anything else you might need. A note on sleeping accommodations\, there will be actual beds (!) in shared rooms. \nIf you are not able to stay overnight\, we invite you to join us instead on Saturday! It is also okay if you are only able to come on Friday or Sunday. Please let us know in the registration that you will be staying for only part of the retreat. \nYou can expect opportunities to be outside\, participate in worship sharing and lots of time to simply be together. We will be partaking in a workshop\, a nature walk\, and small groups to explore the ways we steward and care for the Earth. There will worshipful time throughout the weekend\, and our time will conclude with our own Meeting For Worship on Sunday (hopefully outside). \n\nThings to Know:\nThe cost of your registration goes towards the costs of food\, activities\, and the honoraria for the facilitators. \nThere is scholarship money available for those in need. \nThis will be a mask optional event. \nPlease email ckinnel@pym.org if you have any questions or accommodation needs. \n  \n\nCommunity Expectations:\nThe Young Adult F/friends community is a collaborative community where we share responsibility and work together to support each of our gatherings. This means\, each F/friend is expected to support making and setting up meals\, cleaning up dishes and shared areas\, collecting and disposing of trash\, organizing spaces and activities to their original layout\, and other such responsibilities. We welcome each F/friend contributing to the collective work of the Young Adult community in ways that feel comfortable and accessible. We share responsibility to align with our Quaker values of community and service\, and to ensure that the task of tending to our community is distributed fairly among F/friends. \nRegistration closes Monday\, October 19th\, 2026. \n			\n				REGISTER
