A weekend retreat with Erva Baden designed for folks who self-identify as US-Born African-American/Black Women. (Friday, 4:30pm through Sunday, 1pm.) The Sankofa Path workshop provides an opportunity to uncover what effects might be lingering in our bodies, minds, and spirits and to begin the deep healing necessary to reclaim all aspects of our radiance. Sankofa means “to retrieve” in the Twi language of Ghana; we use the image of the Sankofa bird, looking back over its shoulder to the past, because of the importance of looking back to move forward.
