PYM Connect is open to every Philadelphia Yearly Meeting (PYM) Friend. Each Community of Practice, also called threads, and both yearly meeting wide witnesses have a place where Friends can post. You can participate in keeping them active by adding something of your own.
Friends who took part in Thursday night programming during Annual Sessions are encouraged to log in and repost their questions, resources, or updates so they remain easy for all to find.
If you are not yet on PYM Connect, you are welcome to join. If you already have an account, sign in and take part. You can post questions, share updates, or connect with others for support.
Communities of Practice bring together Friends with similar responsibilities. PYM Connect helps those conversations move between meetings so no Friend works alone.
The yearly meeting’s wide witnesses focus on racism and climate change. PYM Connect has spaces for this work so Friends can join in or share ongoing efforts.
Friends who identify as LGBTQIA+ can request to join the private affinity group listed under Peer Groups. There are privacy settings to support the need in that group. More affinity and role groups will form as Friends express interest. If you would like to have another group, post in a Community of Practice to let PYM Friends know your interests.
The directory makes it easy to find information and be in contact with Friends you want to be in community with.
Meetings can also use PYM Connect to reach staff for guidance or to invite them to visit and offer support, or email at pymconnect@pym.org. If any part of the platform is unfamiliar, PYM staff can support your meeting through it online or in person.
Share on PYM Connect today so Friends can join with you in this PYM online space.
