Governance Advisory Committee is under Admin Council<\/li>\n<li>The committee membership is primarily formed with ex officio members including a representative from each council, from the clerk\u2019s table, from senior staff and from the young adult Friends community. z_index_tablet=&#8221;0&#8243;]\n<p><strong>Charge: <\/strong>\u00a0The Governance Committee is subservient to the three councils jointly and ensures they function in a healthy and consistent manner. Each Council holds specific responsibilities, which allow the body of the yearly meeting to act as the body is led by divine guidance. The Governance Committee is a resource and advisor which keeps the councils aware of good practices and of how they are operating. The Committee offers support when a council or its parts are floundering.<\/p>\n<p>In addition there are three at large seats which are appointed by Administrative Council and which are intended to bring in Friends who have an experience of both Quaker practice and non-profit management.
