This October, Friends World Committee for Consultation (FWCC) will gather at Friends Center in Philadelphia for a celebration marking nearly 90 years of ministry across the Section. The gathering will take place on October 9 and will bring together Friends, FWCC staff, and Executive Committee members from across the Section.
The evening will include dinner, stories from FWCC’s history in Philadelphia, materials from Swarthmore College’s Friends Historical Library, conversation about FWCC’s future, and time with staff and Executive Committee members.
Friends who have been connected with FWCC over the years are welcome to attend. Registration includes a meal and an opportunity to share stories and spend time with materials from the FWCC archives.
Register for the October 9 gathering.
Friends in the Philadelphia metro who can host an Executive Committee member from the evening of October 8 through worship on October 11 are encouraged to volunteer. Philadelphia Yearly Meeting meetings are invited to share this opportunity with Friends who may be able to provide hospitality.
Volunteer to host an Executive Committee member.
