Outreach & Communications Thread Gathering

A gathering focused on Outreach & Communications, with attention to membership development.

The afternoon program will include:

• • Panel: Realities Today, Outreach for the Future Friends share on aspects of outreach and communication (websites, print materials for visitors, nurture for younger attenders and newcomers, neighborhood outreach)
  • Outreach Fair: meetings sharing materials and programs from their experiences — “What’s worked well?”
  • Hands-on session for local meeting cohorts to develop 3-5 new ideas related to outreach and communications to take back for seasoning in their meeting community.
  • Worship sharing to close

Meetings are encouraged to send a cohort of Friends to this gathering, and set a date for follow-up discussion as a meeting.

This is an onsite event, with thanks to Downingtown Meeting for hosting. Childcare and pick-up from local train station will be available — please indicate your need on the registration form.

Parts of the day that are recorded will be posted on PYM YouTube channel after the event.
