Gathering Virtually – A Special Workshop

A workshop from 10 AM to 12 PM on Saturday May 7 to review best practices for gathering in virtual and hybrid spaces for community, fellowship, worship, and business.
Emily Provance (of New England Yearly Meeting) will be sharing this guidance document(.pdf) on navigating virtual engagement, John Marquette (of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting) will speak to the ways in which he can offer consultation support to meetings as a Resource Friend, and we will hear from some meetings that have made use of a recent Shoemaker grant to support outreach and/or virtual engagement.
- How does virtual engagement sync up with Quaker faith and practice and where does it challenge our practices to date?
