How prepared are we to care for ourselves and our neighbors?
A Community Dialogue on Preparation – Recovery – Resilience
Sponsored by the Eco-Justice Collaborative and Concord, Western and Haverford Quarters
Our faith calls on us to care for those in need. With so many suffering from storms, extreme heat days and wildfires, is it time to consider how to best support our communities?

Join with other people of faith, local emergency managers, representatives from local voluntary organizations active in disasters (VOAD), other professionals and concerned citizens to discover the part you can play.
-Learn about ways to prepare your families, our Meeting Houses and the wider community
-Learn about who does what in a disaster and the health and safety impacts of extreme weather in Southeastern Pennsylvania
-Connect with others to see how our Meetings can become part of the solution. Volunteers are essential to responding to large and small scale disasters.
-Support local planning for enhanced community resilience.
