She enjoys working with families as well as adults of all ages, both individually and as a couple. Her therapeutic experience includes working with people experiencing a wide range of personal or family issues including chronic illness or the impending death of themselves or those they love. A convinced Friend, Deborah works to help each person realize their potential and to listen to their inner voice, empowering each person to find solutions that are right for them. She has been a practicing clinician for thirty years, clinical supervisor, administrator of mental health programs, and educator in addition to presenting and conducting workshops on a range of clinical issues. She enjoys collaborating with people throughout the life span and believes all people walk in the door with the inner wisdom and strengths to overcome their life challenges. For Ashley, joy comes from learning through connection and collaboration, practicing discernment, and exploring natural landscapes \u2014 often with one or two scruffy pups in tow.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Selection of Counselors \u2014<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>It is our goal to have counselors available to Friends throughout the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting area although most current counselors are located in the Philadelphia five-county area. Friends may have concerns that cover a variety of issues and lifestyles, so we have counselors with a wide range of specialties and interests.
