The 2019-2020 Children & Families Program: what’s next?
Note: All children need to have a Medical/Permission form filled out when registered. Thank you! This will be on file all year and is good for all Children’s events from Annual Sessions in July to the following June, when there will be an updated form due.
UP NEXT: Summertime events!
Children and their Families gather for community, fellowship and worship, and to explore our work and witness as Quakers. Our largest gathering with the PYM body is a 5-day long residential gathering each year in the summer. Children’s Sessions for rising K-Grade 5 infuses First Day School and Summer Camp with workshops, stories, art, and music — AND this year a trip to Snipes Farm! Loving child care is available for the littlest Friends, infant to age 4 (including rising PreK).
Annual Sessions is also a time for Families to be in community together in the Family Neighborhood. There will be a Quaker Family Meetup and Family BBQ! A fun time for all!
The Community Playdate is an opportunity for fellowship and learning with our PYM Family community. The Please Touch Museum has a new exhibit (until September 2), “America to Zanzibar: Muslim Countries Near and Far” that fits well with our Children and Families theme for 2019 — welcoming our neighbors. So bring a neighbor or friend, and come play!
Looking ahead . . .
*Some locations TBD — watch for registration and more info on the PYM calendar.
