In this tender conversation\, public minister Lynette Davis and Friends Incubator convener Windy Cooler will explore how grief shows up in ministry—both as a burden and as a source of unexpected strength and creativity. Together they will reflect on the challenges of carrying grief publicly\, the ways community can support and be supported by ministers in their losses\, and the transforming power of lament and love in service of a healing justice and the vitality of a living Light.  \nJoin us for an evening of story\, reflection\, and hope. DESCRIPTION:Are you challenged by the concept of public ministry in your meeting? Come learn about the Friends Incubator for Public Ministry’s inaugural cohort learning experience\, designed for those called to public ministry\, their elders\, and their worshipping communities.   \nFrom April 6-12\, 2026 the cohort will gather at Pendle Hill for an in-person retreat.  Five participating meetings will explore how to faithfully discern\, support\, and hold public ministry accountable within their unique community contexts.  The retreat marks the beginning of a two-year transformational process tailored to the needs and gifts of each meeting and minister involved.   \nIn this informal info session\, convener Windy Cooler will share background about this innovative program and answer questions.
