SUMMARY:Joyful Noise: Jazz Vespers Service
DESCRIPTION:Featuring Renowned Violinist\, Diane Monroe\,  this unique afternoon gathering will blend reflection\, spirit\, and the rich improvisational language of jazz in the sacred setting of one of New Jersey’s most treasured historic spaces. The service will feature acclaimed jazz violinist Diane Monroe\, whose artistry has earned national and international recognition. \nDiane Monroe is widely respected for her dynamic style and deep connection to the jazz tradition. She has performed alongside legendary artists including Ray Charles\, Harry Belafonte\, and Grover Washington Jr.  A former concertmaster of the historic Newark Symphony Orchestra\, Monroe bridges classical training and jazz improvisation with elegance and power. Her performances are known for their warmth and for moving seamlessly between genres. \nJazz Vespers is a contemplative worship experience that pairs poetry\, sacred readings and moments of reflection with live jazz performance. The acoustics and historic character of the Burlington Quaker Meeting House offers a fitting environment for this intimate and inspiring gathering.
