A Woman's Place

A Woman's Place is a domestic violence shelter in Bucks County that serves as a temporary housing facility and provides numerous services and support to abused women and their children.

A Woman's Place services include a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, individual and group counseling for women and children, legal and medical advocacy, and court accompaniment.

Factoid from A Woman's Place : "1 out of 5 teenagers will be in a violent relationship by their 18th birthday."

Rich Aldred & Annie Patterson

Annie Patterson has been a part of North America's folk music scene for over 15 years. She has performed at festivals throughout the U.S. and Canada such as The Augusta Heritage Festival, The Vancouver Folk Festival, and the Hudson Clearwater Revival. She is known for her strong vocals in the swing trio "Girls from Mars" (formerly known as "Big Night Out"). Her name is also familiar to fans of the popular songbook RISE UP SINGING which she co-edited with her husband Peter Blood in 1988
