Friends Center is on the corner of 15th and Cherry Streets, two blocks north of City Hall in Philadelphia.

FROM EITHER I-95 OR I-76 get onto the I-676 Vine Street Expressway.
From I-676 East exit at 15th Street, at the end of the ramp turn right onto 15th Street south.
From I-676 West exit at Broad Street, at the end of the ramp you will be on 15th Street headed south. Continue on 15th Street across Vine Street and the Vine Street expressway. Cross Race street, Friends Center is the red brick building on your right, enter at the at the corner of 15th & Cherry Streets.  See Parking       
                

FROM THE NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE
Exit the New Jersey turnpike at exit #4. Follow route 73 West for 8 miles to the intersection with route 38. Stay on route 38 a short time until you merge with route 70. Take 70 west for 4. Miles to US route 30 follow this across the Benjamin Franklin Bridge onto I-676 west, exit at Broad Street and take 15th street south cross Race street, Friends Center is on the right at the corner of 15th & Cherry Streets. PARKING

A good, close parking deal is the first lot on the RIGHT on 15th Street south of the Vine Street Expressway.
Parking is $5.00 on Saturdays and Sundays at the parking garage on Spring Street (6' 10" clearance) one and a half blocks from Friends Center. (After you either cross Vine St on 15th Street or turn right onto 15th Street, stay to the right. At the first opportunity, turn right onto Spring Street, across from Hahnemann Hospital. Half way down Spring Street, turn right into the Parking Garage. Take your parking ticket with you. When you return you will need to pay the attendant in the office before you go to your car. Friends Center is one and a half blocks south on 15th Street at Cherry Street. The entrance to Friends Center is at the corner of 15th and Cherry.

Parking closer to Friends Center without height restrictions:
Traveling south on 15th Street, move to the far-left lane, cross Race Street, in the middle of the block on the left is a public parking lot. This is the most convenient lot and offers a discount to Friends Center employees and guests. The cost is $9.00 on weekdays if you get your parking ticket stamped at the Friends Center reception desk. $7.50 weekday evenings and $8.50 Saturdays and Sundays.  Friends Center is directly across 15th Street. The entrance to Friends Center is at the corner of 15th and Cherry.

Public Transportation Directions

VIA SEPTA TRAINS       SEPTA train schedule
Take the SEPTA train to the Suburban Station. This is the center city station between 30th Street and Market East. Exit the Station on 16th and JFK Boulevard. Walk one block east on JFK to 15th Street. Turn left and walk 2 blocks to Friends Center, which is the red brick building on the left side of 15th Street at the corner of 15th and Cherry.

FROM THE AIRPORT
Take the R1 SEPTA train from the airport to the Suburban Station. These trains run every 30 minutes. Follow directions from Suburban station in "VIA SEPTA TRAINS" above.

VIA SEPTA's Market-Frankford Subway.
Take the SEPTA train to the 15th Street Station. This is the station near Center City. Exit up the stairs to 15th Street, turn left on 15th Street. Walk 3 blocks north to Friends Center, which is the red brick building on the left side of 15th Street at the corner of 15th and Cherry.

VIA AMTRAK Trains
Take Amtrak trains to the 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. Change trains here for any East bound Septa train (Upper level tracks). Exit this train at the next stop, which is Suburban Station. VIA New Jersey Transit Buses.   Many New Jersey Transit buses cross the Ben Franklin Bridge from Camden and make a loop through Philadelphia. Get off the bus at Broad and Cherry Streets in Philadelphia. Cross Broad Street and walk west on Cherry Street one block to Friends Center at the corner of 15th and Cherry Streets. Friends Center is across 15th Street to the right.
