State College Peace Center

Since 1995 the State College Meeting has sponosred it's Peace Center. It has a large library of writing on Peace, Nonviolence, Conflice Resolution and Mediation. The center is located at the Friends Meetinghouse.

Recently the following advertisement was placed in local papers:

Public Opinion Survey: (to be filled out by folks in the State College area)

Some of the people are questioning whether the "War on Terrorism" is succeeding or can succeed in its stated objective of identifying major terrorists and bringing them to justice

Defense Secretary Rumsfeld has even stated that the military is not equipped to carry out a man-hunt.

Conducting a worldwide war indefinitely would involve enormous risks, as well as human and material costs.

In order to promote dialogue on some of these issues, the State College Peace Center is asking your opinion on five questions below. Please send us your views by circling Yes, No, or Undecided, and mail this ad to the State College Peace Center, PO Box 483, State College, PA 16804. You may add your comments if you wish.
