Map to Meeting

Millville Meeting gathers for Sunday worship at 10 in the morning with discussion afterward. Millville is located north of Bloomsburg and the meetinghouse is on Rt. 254, on your right a couple of blocks east of the blinker on Rt. 42. Leave I-80 at the Buckhorn exit and take Rt. 42 North to the intersection with 254 at Millville.

Millville Meeting recently celebrated its 200th Birthday and has a history of continuous use so that descendants of early settlers who built the building still attend. The meetinghouse is both informal and inspiring, with its long porch, ancient unpainted benches, and hand-hewn pillars. Yet this high-energy meeting community is contemporary; its members are drawn from across the Bloomsburg area. The meeting helps support an excellent school, Greenwood Friends, and is active in community services; it also helps children at the school in a twinning project with a village school in Haiti. Meeting members are active in the local Task Force on Racial Equity and Community Mediation Service. This is also a meeting where Friends take care for one another so that everyone, youthful and elderly, is included.
