If you are lead to consider committing yourself to the Quaker way you will start by attendance and by sharing the life of a meeting, for one cannot learn to be a Quaker in the full sense without a meeting home.

Don't hesitate to turn up at a meeting! We are always pleased to have visitors
and we know that some of our most valued Friends are those who came new to
our Society.
On the other hand, remember that you are entering a long established community
with particular ways which have been evolved to help us maintain our spiritual
direction. Wait and watch, as you would in any new place, to learn the customs.
