Like other meetings, we at Woodstown Meeting sometimes flounder with what to do with FDS when families find it hard to attend. For the last year-and-a-half Woodstown has set aside the third Sunday of each month for “intergenerational” activities. Everybody who attends — and this does bring out those of all ages – meets together. We work on introductions, games, story-telling, music, art, whatever. Sometimes there may be a Quaker or biblical link-up, other times, well . . .
This has been a big success. Now we’d like the other Sundays to be as good. Our website has some recent photos.
