Camden Friends Meeting - of the Religious Society of Friends
Peace & Witness
An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.
Southern Quarter's billboard on Route 13
in Laurel, Delaware.

Early members were abolitionists and provided shelter to runaway slaves on the Underground Railroad. Friends today continue with individual witness and participation in such groups as the Kent County Peace Fellowship, the Alternatives to Violence Program (AVP), the Quaker United Nations Office among other activities. The green renovations of our annex are a reflection of our witness for an earth restored and peace through environmental stewardship.
