The Structure Evaluation Project Group was appointed by Interim Meeting to carry out a charge of the 1997 Philadelphia Yearly Meeting in Allentown, that an evaluation be made of the new Standing Committee-based structure five years after it was put in place. The group consists of PYM members recruited by PYM Nominating Committee and approved by Interim Meeting in the Fall of 2001. Two members of the Evaluation Working Group of Interim Meeting are also part of this group, while the General Secretary and Clerk of Yearly Meeting served, for a time, ex officio. They have met on a monthly basis since their appointment, establishing a query and interview process, gathering and analyzing data, and conducting Spirit led discussions to arrive at a point where they are ready to present their findings to the Yearly Meeting at a special called session on October 11, 2003.
This page serves as a presentation of their final report. For more information on the group and the announcement of the called session go to this link.
