General Information
Care and Counsel for Meetings and Members
Care and Counsel for Meetings and Members (formerly Family Relations) was established in 1930 to help Friends deal more effectively with the stresses of daily life in the context of Quaker values as well as to provide support to monthly meetings as they carry out pastoral care. Care and Counsel meets monthly and draws its membership from monthly meetings within Philadelphia Yearly Meeting.
The services are available to all monthly meetings, Friends schools, and Friends organizations in the PYM area and their members, regular attenders, and employees. Fees are set according to one’s ability to pay.
