Friends World Committee for Consultation, Section of the Americas, announces that the 2004 Quaker Youth Pilgrimage will take place in England, Germany and the Netherlands from July 16-August 14, 2004. Young Friends who will be between 16-18 years at that time are invited to apply for the chance to explore Quaker history as they travel to Woodbrooke and the 1652 country of England, among other places. As they carry out a service project, participants will form a community and lasting friendships, experience different Friends’ traditions and forms of worship and gain an understanding of Quaker process. The Quaker Youth Pilgrimage is an opportunity to begin a lifetime of spiritual growth.
FWCC is also looking for two adult facilitators to accompany the group.
