Lyle Jenks has been hired part time by PYM as administrative assistant for outreach projects. He will support the Making New Friends Working Group and the Membership Development Support Fund. This position is funded by restricted gifts to PYM so as not to impact the General Fund budget.
The Making New Friends Working Group has completed surveys and assigned coaches to work with the eight Friends Meetings selected for the two-year pilot project on “Growing Friends Meetings.” Each of the Meetings is working with its coach/consultant to develop and implement its own outreach program to build membership.
Lyle Jenks is a member of Old Chatham Meeting, New York Yearly Meeting, currently sojourning at Swarthmore Meeting (PA). Lyle has worked as Meeting secretary for Swarthmore and Chestnut Hill (PA).
