Media Meeting (PA) took a special collection and raised $2,530 for PYM’s Annual Fund in response to news of the budget crisis. Upon hearing a report that if every Meeting raised $1,000 more the identified need at that time would be met, Yvonne Fraley issued a challenge to other members of Media Meeting. She said she would match up to $500 in gifts made by other Meeting members so that Media Meeting could raise that extra $1,000 for PYM’s Annual Fund. The challenge exceeded expectations and raised $2,530. Philadelphia Yearly Meeting thanks Media Friends for their support.
