The 2002 edition of PYM’s Faith and Practice contains two new features, both produced by members of the Publications Service Group. There are 21 new paragraphs that reflect the Yearly Meeting's structural and procedural changes of the late 1990s, and there is a section of brief biographies of Friends whose writings are quoted throughout the book. The Faith and Practice Revision Committee which completed work in 1997 had planned to prepare the biographies, but could not include them in the initial printing due to lack of time. The 21 paragraphs, as good order requires, were submitted to the Yearly Meeting in session in the summer of 2001 and given final approval in the winter of 2002.
