Heres a cool deal! Mount Holly Meeting (NJ) expects to save $200 a year. Perhaps your Meeting can too.
The Meeting borrowed a Watts meter from the Interfaith Coalition on Energy. It showed that their old large refrigerator was costing $250 a year for electricity. They are buying a smaller Energy Star refrigerator for less than $450 that will cost about $30 a year to operate.
For more about refrigerators or to borrow a Watts meter, call The Interfaith Coalition on Energy at 215-635-1122, or Ed Dreby of the Environmental Working Group at 609-261-8190.
