If you are, or would like to be, drawn more closely into God's presence, one of the following retreats may give you the needed solitude and prayerful time apart. The retreats are silent except for daily sharing with a spiritual director. During these meetings the discussion centers on the retreatant's life and prayer and relationship to God. We begin wherever the retreatant is at this time in his or her life.
Four retreats for Friends are offered this winter at St. Raphaela Center in Haverford, Pennsylvania. The Center is a large house with pleasant walking outside. The Sisters are most welcoming and helpful. Retreatants will have private rooms; meals will be taken in the retreatants' dining room. Retreatants have the run of the house, chapel and spacious grounds. Renee Crauder of Radnor Meeting (PA) is the spiritual director for all four retreats. Retreats are under the care of the PYM Adult Religious Education Concerns Group.
- Eight-day retreat, Tuesday, January 7, to Wednesday, January 15. Cost is $345.
- Short mid-week retreat, Monday, February 10, to Wednesday, February 12. Cost is $130.
- Longer mid-week retreat, Monday, February 17, to Thursday, February 20. Cost is $165.
- Weekend retreat, Friday, March 14, to Sunday, March 16. Cost is $130.
