Tour guides and school groups are finding the Arch Street Meeting House a significant addition to their tour of Philadelphia. They dont have to wait in long lines or go through metal detectors. They get to sit down and share in the dialogue. Over 25,000 visitors came last spring, which was 8,000 more than in previous years.
The Quaker message needs to be told, and the Arch Street Meeting House Visitors Program needs your help to do it. Visitors are eager to learn about our religious beliefs and history and about the Arch Street Meeting House. It will be an enriching experience for you.
Please contact Sandy Sudofsky at 215-627-2667 to learn about volunteering. The first training will be Saturday, October 5.
