riends World Committee for Consultation Section of the Americas is seeking two adult facilitators and 14 young Friends, ages 16 to 18, for the Quaker Youth Pilgrimage, July 12-August 10, 2002. The youth pilgrimage, both physical and spiritual, will trace some of George Fox's journey through Virginia and North Carolina. A diverse group of Friends will come together to explore their common roots, experience different forms of worship, visit important Quaker historical sites and undertake a work project while traveling, living and working together.
Co-sponsored by the FWCC Europe and Middle East Section and the Section of the Americas, this is a biennial, international event for Quaker youth from different branches of Quakerism and both sides of the Atlantic.
