ennett Meeting will hold its annual Quaker Fair on Saturday, November 17, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Meetinghouse on West Sickle Street in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.
Come to mingle, browse and, of course, buy. The library will be brimming full of second-hand books, the Meeting Room will have handmade gifts, knitwear and plants, two classrooms will be filled with white-elephant items in Grandma's Attic, and there will be baked goods just waiting to be eaten. There are pony rides and children's activities. Luncheon will be served downstairs from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. with our famous mushroom soup and chicken salad, just to name two items.
Above and beyond all this fun, and the hard work preparing all of this, we need to mention that all the proceeds go to the American Friends Service Committee. Come one and all to support this worthwhile cause!
