his year's Woolman lecture will take place at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 28, at the Mount Holly Friends Meetinghouse in John Woolman's home town of Mount Holly, New Jersey. The speaker will be Keith Helmuth, author of the Canadian Yearly Meeting pamphlet, "If John Woolman were Among Us: Reflections on Flush Toilets and Motor Vehicles." He will explore Woolman's statements about work and how they relate to modern life. The lecture will be followed by a simple reception.
