very special day is being set aside for
religious education teachers and committees, for youth leaders, and for Quaker
parents. The day is being planned by the Religious Education Concerns Group to
provide skilled leadership, resources, and first-hand experience in the areas
of First-day School teaching, Religious Education program organizing, youth
activities, and Quaker parenting for folks in Bucks Quarter and nearby
Meetings.
"You Can Do It! Day" will be from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, September 29, at Wrightstown Meeting (PA) on Route 413. Leaders for the six workshops come from Doylestown, Buckingham, Radnor, Richland, Central Philadelphia, and Lancaster Monthly Meetings. Registration is $10.00 and needs to be postmarked by September 24. Care will be provided for infants through grade 8.
