t is inspiring to read in PYM News of the depth and variety of commitment among PYM Friends.
Libby Marsh, in the May/Summer 2001 issue, writes of the many ways in which Friends make peace, and points to groups such as American Friends Service Committee, Friends Committee on National Legislation and Quaker United Nations Office working on a national scale. It is even better than this. There are two, not one, QUNO offices, in New York and in Geneva, and both of them serve Friends not just nationally but worldwide. So you, making peace at home, are part of a web which embraces Friends around the globe, the United Nations, other international organisations, other non-governmental organisations and peacemakers everywhere. For information about both QUNOs try their website, www.quno.org.
