akim Hudson, dynamic discussion leader for the Friends Workcamp Program, has left the program to take a job counseling young people in his West Philadelphia neighborhood. Hakim was on the Workcamp staff for two years but was involved with the PYM program for at least six. Before he was 21, Hakim was co-leading discussions with director Michael Van Hoy at weeklong workcamps for Earlham College students and sponsored by Pendle Hill.
Hakim's presence will be greatly missed at the Workcamp Program but very much appreciated at the Parkside program where he now works.
