he Development Services Working Group invites Friends from Bucks Quarter and State College Meeting (PA) to attend separate programs in their areas on Wills and Estate Planning.
Samuel Swansen, a nationally respected estate-planning attorney, will lead the gathering for Bucks Quarter on Sunday, September 30, at Newtown Meeting (PA) from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. The program at State College Meeting will be on Sunday, October 14; an experienced estate-planning attorney will lead the discussion. Invitations will be mailed to members of both Bucks Quarter and State College Meeting.
Definition of estate planning: I want to control my property while Im alive and well; take care of me and my loved ones if I become disabled; give what I have to whom I want, the way I want, and when I want; and, if I can, save every last tax dollar, professional fee, and court cost possible for me and my loved ones.
If you already have a will, but it is more than three years old, how have constantly changing tax laws affected it? What becomes of your IRA or 401K if it outlives you? Will the medical community honor your living will? Should everything you own be in joint name with your spouse? Who will make medical and financial decisions for you if you cant? Please come, and bring more questions.
To confirm your attendance at either program, please RSVP to Elizabeth Foley, PYM director of development, at 215-241-7115 or elizabeth@pym.org.
