William Frost, director of Friends Historical Library, professor of religion and chair of Peace Studies at Swarthmore College, will give the keynote address at the Annual Public Gathering of the American Friends Service Committee at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 3, at Friends Center, 15th and Cherry streets, Philadelphia.
"Faith in Action" is the theme of the gathering. J. William Frost's address will be followed by three simultaneous panels about AFSC's work on issues of peace and social and economic justice.
The Annual Public Gathering is free and open to the public; the building is wheelchair accessible; the keynote address will be available in Real Time captioning; and child care will be provided.
