discussion on legal incorporation of Friends Meetings is scheduled for Saturday morning, September 29, at the Fourth and Arch Street Meeting House in Philadelphia. This discussion is sponsored by the Treasurers Planning Group, which has held a series of programs to meet the needs of Monthly Meeting treasurers and others involved in Quaker financial affairs. All are welcome.
Expect to hear from Meetings that have been incorporated, have decided to incorporate, or have decided not to incorporate. Additional information on this discussion will be mailed to Meetings in early September.
Note that this discussion, about incorporating Monthly Meetings, is separate from the matter of incorporation of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, which is on the agenda for Friday, July 20, at residential Yearly Meeting sessions.
