Caln, Concord look to Quarters' future

RETURN TO TABLE OF CONTENTS

A discussion of the role of Quarterly Meetings and possibilities for the future will take place at Old Caln Meetinghouse on Sunday afternoon, July 29, following the separate business meetings of Caln Quarterly Meeting and Concord Quarterly Meeting. Friends from those Quarters and beyond are encouraged to attend.

The afternoon program will include the history of each Quarter and a discussion concerning the place of Quarterly Meetings and their possibilities in the future. Many Friends have already been invited to comment on this subject. If you can't be present and wish to include your ideas as a springboard to the discussion, please send them to either Peter Lane peter.lane@westtown.edu or Anne Barton jcbarton@epix.net. The committee would like to attribute your comments to you, but you may remain anonymous if you advise us.

A children's program is being planned in order to encourage family attendance. Details will be sent to Friends in the Quarters. Old Caln Meetinghouse is located on Route 340 about 3 miles east of Coatesville, Pennsylvania.
