- Ushers are needed for both the March and July sessions of Yearly Meeting. Ushers may be asked to hand out papers before sessions, assist Friends who require help to their seats, and/or honcho a microphone during periods of worship and open discussion.
- Persons willing to learn the basics of running the sound system are imperative for both sessions. Primary responsibilities will be to instruct the ushers in the use of the microphones, to ensure that the microphones have fully charged batteries, and to monitor the sound board as needed to prevent feedback and ensure appropriate volume.
- Meal ticket checkers will be needed for the July sessions prior to each meal to check off Friends' meal ticket numbers as they enter the dining hall.
- Registration help is needed in July. An excellent opportunity to greet Friends as they arrive at DeSales University, this job involves ensuring that all participants are accurately registered for meals and overnights.
- As much as we try to anticipate what is needed, often volunteers are required for myriad tasks on site! If you are a "Jack-or-Jill-of-All-Trades" or have a specific skill to share, please let us know of your availability.
