riends Institute, a PYM group of Young Adult Friends ages 18-40, is being revived. Friends Institute is organizing events to build community among Quakers and is providing support to individuals or groups engaged in promoting Friends testimonies or Quaker ministry and services projects.
One of the regular events where you can meet other members of Friends Institute and learn and contribute to the group is the "Second Sunday Sojourn" to worship with various Meetings in the PYM area.
The schedule for the next few months is:
- March 11 at Swarthmore Meeting (PA) at 10 a.m. (Rte 320 to Elm Street, 2 blocks to stone gateway, Left on Whittier Place, 1 block)
- April 8 at Central Philadelphia Meeting at 11 a.m. (1515 Cherry Street)
- May 13 at Woodstown Meeting (NJ) at 10:30 a.m. (104 N. Main Street)
- June 10 at London Grove Meeting (PA) at 9:30 a.m. (Rte 926 at Newark Road, near Kennett Square)
